Krasdale Foods Inc. selected HIMPACT by Herlitz Inventory Management as its new purchasing system in February 2023. The HIMPACT System will help Krasdale Foods build up the foundation of its current solution before making a full transition to HIMPACT in the coming months.
Herlitz Inventory Management (HIM), leading innovator in scientific demand forecasting, replenishment, and optimization, announced that Krasdale Foods Inc. (KFI) will be switching to the HIMPACT purchasing system. Located strategically in the Bronx, New York, KFI is the leading distributor of groceries in the metropolitan area. From its state-of-the-art warehouse, Krasdale takes pride in servicing over 2,500 independent grocery locations and helping them meet their diverse and unique needs. The business has established itself as a reliable partner to its customers, which has contributed to its growth and success since 1908.

The move to HIMPACT comes as KFI was looking to improve its existing purchasing and inventory management applications. Krasdale Foods Inc. wanted a partner that knew the industry and could provide a quality purchasing solution that would be able to grow with them. After KFI completed its due diligence and conducted a thorough selection process, Herlitz Inventory Management stood out as the clear choice.

Due to its efficient implementation process and Krasdale’s IT team, the HIMPACT solution was processing daily interfaces at Krasdale in the same calendar month the agreement was signed. The buying team and Herlitz Onboarding Team are currently validating data as more and more interfaces are added to the daily interchange, with buyer training planned for May.
